If u dislike the DM's, (in another Option), MIGHT U can make your own experiment by calculate another planes and then compare each others, and choose (which are u think) the most benefit plane in begining (or in your current budget).

Might Ms.Excel would being great common app to calc and compare it

Your Hub = A
The town 8000km or less away from your hub = B
The town 8000km or less away from point B = C

Go to find routes, select your hub and then 8000km.
Find the furthest distance, which we will be calling point B, and replace your hub (point A) with the new town (point B) and search again (with 8000km).
Search for the furthest distance on the list, thats point C.

For point C you will want a very high demand, as well as a very far distance. If all the demands are low, go back and change point B from the furthest distance away from your hub, to the second furthest distance away from your hub, and try to find a better point C. (keep in mind north, south, east, and west so you can be flying 40 of the highest demanding routes around your hub). Youre only allowed to send 10 planes to a single destination, so feel relaxed to know you have more options to explore.

With your starting plane, create a new route to point C and use point B as a stop over. In this way you will have 1 very long leg (point A-B) and a long leg with very high demand (point B-C).
Then there is screen that allows you to change the ticket price, take the default price of the ticket and multiply it by 1.749 and round the decimal down, and use that new price. There is a maximum price that the game will cap you on, which is 20k, 25k, and 45k for economic, business, and first class seats, so if you get an error make sure you are not pricing your tickets over these caps.

With my starting plane, I made about 2,500,000 by departing it once (yet it has a flight time of 20hrs) but all this money made me able to get a very good plane.

There are certain planes that can return over 100% of their costs, for example you bought a plane for 2,000,000 and then you departed it and it makes 3,000,000 which allows you to buy the same model of plane an infinite amount of times. (unfortunately youre only allowed 200 active routes and youre very limited with fuel and money in the start of the game. You may have a lot of planes, but you will also need to buy fuel to use them).

As for me, just with the starting plane, money, and fuel I was able to buy 10 Boeing B707 (Taiwan) each costed 2.2mill but I got 2.8mill after departing each one and the fuel costed me about 0.7mill, so I was eventually running out of money as the total cost to fly a plane was 2.9mill and I got 2.8mill.

I highly recommend against buying the Dassault Mercures as they need a lot of fuel, furthermore their range (even with stopovers) is poor and their speed is very poor as well. I know the # of seats surprise you, but its all about ratios there is no difference between 1/9 and 10/90 the the Dassault Mercure deceives you into thinking its good, but its not.

What is most important in a plane is the fuel usage per seat. for 100 people to pay 20 lbs/km is better than letting 150 people pay for 25lbs/km. (100/20=5 or 150/25=6) as you see, although 100 seats is less than 150 seats, they can save money by 1 lbs/km which really adds up in profits if youre flying +15,000km since thats an extra 15,000 profit per passenger, assuming 15,000lbs cost $15,000 (so multiply it by 150-100, and you can see how much extra money you can be saving by fuel efficiency per seat).

--If youre able to buy fuel under $500, then fuel consumption means nothing and so the Dassault becomes an okay plane. But its rare to find that price, and once its that low you will have to buy as much as youre allowed because you wont be able to find it that low again for a very long time. Even so, if you have fuel efficeint planes, its never such a good idea to buy extremely expensive fuel, unless your fuel consumption is virtually 0lbs/km.

On the A/C market you can search for countries or cities or brands of planes. Its helps a lot if youre looking for planes with a lot of seats and distance (like boeing or airbus) or it helps by reducing ferry cost (by searching your hub or cities near it).
